Return & Refund Policy
We thank you and appreciate your purchase with us. Please read our policy, conditions, and process carefully. They will give you essential information and guidelines about your rights and obligations as our customer concerning any purchase you make through us unless specifically stated otherwise on our product pages. We make every effort to service the order/s placed with us as per the specifications and timelines mentioned against each product.
Return Policy
All shipments are carefully inspected before they are dispatched. However, if you are not happy with the product due to some unforeseen situation, then the following terms apply for a mutually consented resolution of the situation.
- If you have received a damaged item or if the item you received was not the item you ordered, or if it was misrepresented on our site, please contact us within 48 to 72 hours of your receipt of the product.
- You must save all packing materials as well as the item itself. When you reach us, we’ll give you instructions on how to proceed so that we may replace the item as quickly as possible.
- We accept returns within 48 to 72 hours of receiving the shipment. You have to inform our customer service team and report the issue.
- Please contact our customer service to report the issue, and the customer service executive will provide you with the address where the product needs to be returned.
Points To Remember:
- Please ensure that the product is in original packing along with the invoice. All products should be returned in original condition with tags/labels intact as attached to the product. The presence of original tags/labels is a must to accept returns.
- When you have shipped the product back, please share the AWB Number given to you by the courier. You must use a trackable courier to return the product.
- The refund process will be initiated once we have received the product(s)
- We will refund the purchase amount and the shipping cost borne by you. You will have to provide us with the proof of shipping cost.
Please note:
We do not arrange for pickup-replacement. To return a product, we advise you to courier it to us. If we decide to replace your product, your return courier charges will be reimbursed.
Refund Policy
When will the refund be processed?
If the order/product is delivered and has been cancelled for a refund due to product fault, delivery of the wrong product, partial product, etc., the refund is processed.
- Ensure that the product is in warranty.
- The refund shall be processed only after the product is shipped back and received by us.
- Need to attach a note along with the product returned for refund. The note should clearly state your name and address, contact number, and order number. Describe the problem in your own words. Without your order details, processing a refund/replacement would not be possible.
- The return courier AWB/tracking number not shared with Chakan Oils customer support team is not eligible for a refund.
- The order returned must accompany all the accessories (including freebies) which were serviced along with the order. Else, the cost of the accessories shall be recovered from the refund amount.
- Any charges levied as tax is not eligible for a refund.
What is the refund process?
Refund Process:
- Please connect with our customer care via email or call.
- The customer care team will validate the request by checking the timelines, product type, warranty terms, etc., and shall take the request for a refund or exchange
- Ensure to collect the return address from Chakan Oils customer care.
- Pack the product properly and label the product with the order number, return address, and your address.
- Follow the instructions of customer care carefully for packaging and returning the product using courier services
- Ensure that the AWB / tracking number is shared with Chakan Oils customer care. Or mail us at lakdighanaoils@gmail.com
The order shall be considered refunded only if the seller receives the product in undamaged condition [there should be no scratches, no dents, etc.]
Caution: Please ensure to pack the product properly before handing it over to the courier.
When would the refund be refused?
A refund can be refused if the following conditions are met.
- The product is completely broken and unusable or with scratches or incomplete as per our expectations from the customer.
- The product is returned beyond the required date, or you have not informed us about the concern during the warranty period.
- The order returned does not accompany all the accessories (including freebies) which were serviced along with the order.
The order shall be considered refunded only if the seller receives the product in undamaged condition [there should be no scratches, no dents, etc.]
What is the timeline for a refund?
Only after we receive the returned product, we will refund your amount in 15 days, subject to the conditions above.
What will be the refund method?
We will process the refund by bank transfer or by cheque.
Please Note:
- A refund Cheque will be issued in the billing name.
- Refund via bank transfer will be done to an account owned only by you.
- In case the refund Cheque is lost by the customer, Cheque will be reissued in 15 days on the receipt of the affidavit.
- In case of an incorrect name on the refund Cheque, a new Cheque will be reissued in 15 days on the customer's receipt of the original Cheque.
